SUN STUDIO
Il Cubetto is divided into two adjacent, identical studios. The two verandas each have a little lounge area and dining table located on opposite sides of the house to ensure maximum privacy.
The Sun Studio is the studio closest to the parking area. Like the other studio apartment, it measures 25 square meters, including a comfortable bathroom. Decorated in sunny tones, it features mostly wood and bamboo furnishings, thoughtfully designed so that nothing essential is missing: a kitchenette with a sink and four-burner gas stove, drawers with all the necessary cookware and utensils, a small refrigerator, an open bamboo wardrobe, and a panoramic dining/work area set in front of a large window overlooking the valley. There is also a kettle and an Italian moka pot for coffee.
The bed is a standard double (160 x 190 cm), with a wooden slatted base and a 20 cm-high mattress with an internal layer of 18 cm Eliocell Firm, a water-based foam material which, thanks to its open cell structure, guarantees really good breathability and adaptability to the shape of the body. It is an Oeko Tex certified “Made in Italy” product.
The bathroom is equipped with a 90 x 90 cm shower, a sink, a toilet, and a toilet shower. A hairdryer is provided.
Two chargers are provided, each with 3 USB-C ports (two are PD20W) and 2 USB-A ports, fast charging.
Upon arrival, you’ll find a welcome kit consisting of coarse and fine salt, pepper, a small bottle of Tuscan extra virgin olive oil produced in our area, packets of sugar, tea, chamomile, and herbal infusions. You’ll also find a small bottle of washing-up detergent, a sponge, and a dish towel, as well as an olive oil-based courtesy soap in the bathroom.
For a fee, we provide a basket with Tuscan wheat pasta and two sauces made by local organic producers – perfect for guests arriving too late to go shopping or too tired to go out to a restaurant. There’s also a selection of local Tuscan wines that we purchase in bulk directly from the producers. For some of our guests, these bottles also become a small, pleasant souvenir to take home when the holiday ends!

Please note: our Cubetto is equipped with the safety devices required by law – fire extinguisher and combustible gas detector. It does not require a carbon monoxide detector because the heating system (including the sanitary water one) is totally electric.
