Truly excellent cheeses, cured meats, oil and wine can be bought in this local farmers’ association shop. An absolutely “non-touristy”, simple place where, precisely for this reason, the value for money is excellent.

This is the shop of a small farm that produces everything on its own from the milk of its own cows. Fresh cheeses, yoghurt and also fresh milk. All absolutely natural: you can eat cheeses without removing the peel because there is no any plastic or other inedible substances. Excellent prices. They also usually have homemade jams and honey perfect to accompany the cheeses. Our only advice is not to wait to eat any of these cheeses, because even the slightly more seasoned ones actually have a limited seasoning and after a few days they become too dry

In this little farm shop very close to Il Cubetto you can find, first of all, truly excellent honey from their own bees produced on site, and many other products derived from it, both edible and ornamental. Especially in Christmas time, you can also find for sale beautiful candles and “sculptures” made of beeswax crafted by the farmer’s mother, perfect for gifts or special occasions. Depending the season, there are also fruit and vegetable jams, oil/vinegar-marinated vegetables, wines, and much more.
They also offer aperitifs and cold dinners based on their products on a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills – not to be missed at sunset! Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7.30pm onwards. Very close to Il Cubetto… For dinner and aperitifs you need to book by whats app (also in english) at the mobile number above with a written message, no calls and no vocal messages.

Also really near to Il Cubetto, this country shop is specialized exclusively in honey and its derivatives, from the producer to the consumer, including a whole line of cosmetics and health products all based on honey. The beekeeping, entirely organic, obviously relies solely on the production of its own bees. They also sell their completely organic olive oil.

This is first and foremost an olive mill where extra virgin olive oil is produced and then sold in the adjoining shop. The mill also offers guided tours during the oil production season, as it is one of the last remaining traditional steam mills in Tuscany (by reservation only). In the shop, you will also find other traditional gourmet specialties such as wines, jams, pasta, honey, condiments. In summer, every evening (with reservation), barbecues featuring meat grilled exclusively over Mediterranean wood are held in the mill’s rustic setting, accompanied by fresh seasonal vegetables from the farm.
