THE POOL AND THE GARDEN
Our little place, Il Cubetto, is a wooden cottage set amid the countryside, in the upper and most panoramic part of our property. It is particularly distinctive thanks to its exclusivity: only two studio apartments within 7000 sqm of garden we like to leave natural and a bit “wild”, planted with fruit trees. It ensures our guests can enjoy a truly rare sense of peace and freedom.
There are a maximum of two guests per studio apartment, so a maximum of 4 persons over all. The guests here have exclusive use of a salt-water, infinity swimming pool that overlooks the valley. Guests can park next to the cottage or beside the road depending on the type of car they drive.
Our trees, some of which are rare, old species that we are trying to preserve, produce fruit practically throughout the year. We also have a little vegetable garden.
Our neighbors have free-range chickens, supplying us with 100% organic eggs for our breakfasts.
The saltwater infinity pool overlooks a typical Tuscan landscape of hills dotted with cypress and maritime pine trees. It measures 8.5 x 4 meters and has a solarium extending on two sides with sunbeds and lounge areas positioned in front of the two cottages for the exclusive use of our guests.
The Wi-Fi connection covers the entire area of the pool and garden.
There is a shared barbecue that guests may use freely by coordinating days and times with their “vacation neighbors.”
We live at the other end of the property from where Il Cubetto is located, so we are always there for check-in, check-out or any our guests’ needs.
We have two dogs and some cats, all of whom are well-behaved. They mostly stay in an area of the garden away from the that surrounding Il Cubetto, but some of them are “free spirits” and may decide to come and greet our guests. Thus, we prefer to welcome animal-lovers and, if you bring a dog, it must not be “cat-hunter”.

The garden area surrounding the cottage is fenced, allowing your pets to roam freely. In addition, guests are welcome in the rest of the garden to pick fruits directly from the trees during the fruit-bearing season. When available, we are also happy to offer them some fresh produce from our vegetable garden.
